Training for trainers

In the period between 15-17 September Youth Movement for Rights and Freedoms (YMRF) hold second edition of the seminar named “Training for Trainers” in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Young people, members and supporters of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) from across the country had the opportunity to become trained trainers. The event was held over three days and was organised by MRF in cooperation with Friedrich Naumman Foundation and Liberal Integration Foundation.

 

On the first day of the training, the participants met with Deputy Speaker of MRF’s parliamentary group, Mr Khalil Lethfov, who introduced to the participants the subject “Psychology of the Crowds”. Participants also discussed the role of young people in politics with YMRF’s president and Member of the European Parliament Ilhan Kyuchyuk. Andrew Husley, LIBDEMS’ coordinator for Bulgaria, had a lecture in front he participants. Birshen Ibryamova, the Executive Director of the Liberal Integration Foundation, presented foundation’s goals and ideas to the participants.

During the second day of the training, the participants had the opportunity to get learn more about the subject of “Parliamentary Communication”, this lecture was held by Dr. Nigyar Caver, who is Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. During the lecture the participants were very active and asked many questions. Lately, youths continued their training with many interactive games, different trainings on subjects such as communication and non-verbal skills.
